What you can order
- Single fruit. One whole soursop, around 1kg.
- Box of 5kg. Several whole fruit packed together.
- Box of 10kg. The largest size, for households and trade.
When it is sent
Order by 5pm on Friday for that week's harvest. It is dispatched the following Tuesday, usually arriving Wednesday, on a tracked service. Orders placed after 5pm on Friday are held for the next batch. From harvest to delivery is no more than five days.
How it arrives
Most fruit arrives still firm. That is deliberate, so it finishes ripening at home rather than bruising on the way.
Keep it out of the fridge while it is firm. Leave it uncovered at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, somewhere dry with good air flow. It is ready when the fruit gives to gentle pressure. Cold halts the ripening and it will not soften afterwards.
What it tastes like
The flavour sits somewhere between pineapple, strawberry and citrus, with soft white flesh inside a spiky green skin.
